The controller
AUXO Holdings Ltd, trading as Relieved, is the data controller for the information you give us on this website. Company number 13751703. Registered office: Unit 7 Wheatcroft Business Park, Landmere Lane, Edwalton, Nottingham NG12 4DG.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, mobile number and, if you give it, email address.
- Location: your postcode, so we can find practices near you.
- Health information: what you tell us about your dental problem and the answers to our safety questions. This is special category data.
- Payment: a card hold is taken by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Booking records: the times you chose, which practices we contacted, what they replied, and the appointment we confirmed.
- Website use: pages visited and events such as starting a booking, and whether a booking came from one of our Google ads. This only runs if you accept cookies. See our cookie notice.
- Practices: if you register interest as a practice, your practice name, your name, email, phone and message.

Who we share it with
- Dental practices within about 20 miles of you, so they can tell us whether they can see you. We share your problem, your chosen times and your first name. Once a practice confirms, we share your full name and mobile number with that practice only. The practice becomes the controller of your clinical record from then on.
- Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages), Google Workspace (our inbox), our hosting provider in the UK or EU, and Google Analytics and Google Ads if you accept cookies (never your name, contact details, postcode or dental problem).
- Nobody else, unless the law requires it.
Practices' contact details are never shown on this site beyond a public phone number and website.
WhatsApp is optional and you start the chat: nothing is sent to WhatsApp unless you tap a WhatsApp button or link on this site or in our messages. Messages you send us there are handled by Meta's WhatsApp service under its own terms and privacy policy, and we see your WhatsApp name and number. We keep the conversation for the same period as your booking record (3 years from the appointment date) and do not use it for marketing. Please do not use WhatsApp for emergencies: if you cannot breathe or swallow, or bleeding will not stop, call 999, or 111 if you are not sure.
How long we keep it
- Booking records, including what you told us about your problem: 3 years from the appointment date, in case of a complaint or dispute.
- Payment records: 6 years, as required for tax.
- Bookings that were never paid for: 30 days.
- Practice enquiries: 12 months from last contact.
Where it is stored
Our servers are in the UK or EU. Some suppliers (Stripe, Twilio, Google) may process data in the United States under the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time, which won't affect anything done before. Email book@relieved.uk and we'll reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
Bookings must be made by someone aged 18 or over. A parent or guardian may book on behalf of a child.
Changes
We'll update this notice here whenever the way we use your data changes, and note the date at the top.
